On Sep. 20^th, more than 60 medias attended the launching ceremony for global road show of SANY’s 66m truck-mounted concrete pump. They interviewed Mr. Yi Xiaogang, SANY’s chief scientist, with great interesting.

At the ceremony, Mr. Yi submitted the application of truck-mounted concrete pump with the longest boom to staff from Guinness World Records. He said that 66 meters is not just a number or a product but also the embodiment of advanced technology in the concrete equipment industry. SANY’s 66m truck-mounted concrete pump will lead the overall upgrade of technology.

Equipoise and stability are very important to the performance of a truck-mounted concrete pump. One meter extension is extremely difficult when the boom reaches a certain length. Meanwhile boom extension is the result of overall optimization of foundation technologies like material, controlling, manufacture, techniques etc. Mr. Yi indicated that SANY’s 66m truck-mounted concrete pump owns 15 leading technologies, which will promote the development of whole industry.

Each year, SANY would invest 5%-6% of sales revenue on R & D. In 2006, the R & D investment amounted to 500 million RMB. Mr. Yi Xiaogang said “Self-innovation is the backbone of 66m truck-mounted concrete pump, and also the key for SANY’s continuous growing. SANY’s goal is entering into Global Enterprises Top 500, so we should always standing at the forefront between other companies.”

When journalists asked questions about the market future of 66m truck-mounted concrete pump, Mr. Yi responded confidentially “SANY see a good market of it.” He explained that the price of 66m truck-mounted concrete pump is tens of millions however it is the embodiment of a company’s strength and lead to a high efficiency and quality construction. With the development of construction market, 66m truck-mounted concrete pump would definitely have an increasing market.
